A Spooktacular Success: Reflecting on the Roaring Good Time at Devonshriek 2025!

We love highlighting what makes the Devonshire community so special. This past Sunday, the neighborhood truly came to life with the annual Devonshriek event, and by all accounts, it was a roaring success that perfectly captured the fun, family-friendly spirit of our community.

Held on the picturesque Meeting House Lawn, the evening was a masterclass in careful planning and execution by the Devonshire Residential Association manager, CCMC. From the moment families arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

A Pirate's Paradise for All Ages

The attractions were a hit from start to finish! Children were thrilled by the high-energy fun of the Kracken Slide and Pirate Bounce House, while the Pair of Pirates Meet N Greet and Pirate Band added authentic swashbuckling flair. For those seeking a thrill, the Pirate Revenge Ride and the dizzying Gryoscope Ride delivered, and the Haunted Maze provided just the right amount of spooky suspense.

One of the most charming additions was the festive pumpkin patch, thoughtfully set up as the perfect backdrop for family photos. It was a delightful spot where parents could capture smiling, costumed children, creating lasting memories of a perfect autumn night.

A Much-Needed Respite for Parents

While the kids were off having the time of their lives, adults had the chance to truly relax and socialize. The Creepy Cocktail Bar inside The Meeting House offered a nice spot for parents to unwind, while the sounds of the DJ filled the air with a lively atmosphere. The presence of popular Food Trucks meant no one had to worry about dinner, and the Balloon Artist kept even the most impatient little ones entertained in line. It was one of those rare, perfect community events where the children were utterly entertained, and the adults could enjoy a few hours of relaxed conversation among neighbors.
